The NRSWA Supervisor course, which covers a variety of street construction site operations over many units, is provided by Essex Construction Training (ECT). Your Street Works Supervisor Card will be enhanced with a certificate that you will get upon successfully completing each unit .

After finishing the NRSWA course unit(s) successfully, students will get a Certificate of Competence, which they must submit to the SWQR. After that, they will provide you a plastic picture ID card that verifies your eligibility for every NRSWA unit. It’s good for five years..
Course Options:
- The Operatives course includes the following units:
- LA – Location and avoidance of underground apparatus
- S1 – Monitoring signing, lighting and guarding
- S2 – Monitoring excavation in the highway
- S3 – Monitoring reinstatement and compaction of backfill
- S4 – Monitoring reinstatement of sub-base and road base in non-bituminous materials
- S5 – Monitoring reinstatement of bituminous materials
- S6 – Monitoring reinstatement of concrete slabs
- S7 – Monitoring reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways
